SkinGlowly

Korean skincare, minus the ten steps

Fade the spots. Keep the glow.

One Korean cream, built around 7% arbutin and 4% tranexamic acid, aimed squarely at the marks that sun and breakouts leave behind. No twelve step routine. No waiting list for a dermatologist.

Why this exists

Some marks do not fade on their own.

A spot left by a breakout, a patch that arrived after one summer, the shadow that never quite lifted. Pigment sits deeper than a good cleanser can reach, and the internet answers with a twelve step routine you will abandon by week two.

SkinGlowly takes the opposite approach. One clinically tested Korean formula, used morning and night, with actives at the strength that actually moves the needle. Everything else you already own stays where it is.

Match it to your skin

What are you actually looking at?

Not every dark patch is the same problem, and the formula does not treat them the same way. Pick the one that sounds like your face.

The breakout left, the shadow stayed.

Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation is your skin over reacting to its own repair job. The spot is flat, not raised, and it can sit there for six to twelve months on its own. Picking makes it worse. Sunlight makes it darker.

Arbutin slows tyrosinase, the enzyme that starts pigment production, so the next batch never gets made at full strength. Niacinamide works one step later, slowing the handoff of pigment to the surface cells you actually see. Adenosine and allantoin calm the skin that is still recovering.

Doing the work

  • Arbutin 7%Blocks pigment at the source
  • NiacinamideStops pigment reaching the surface
  • AdenosineSettles skin still healing
  • Ceramide NPRebuilds the barrier a breakout broke

Twenty summers, one face.

Sun spots are cumulative. Every unprotected afternoon told your melanocytes to make more pigment, and they kept a record. They usually show on the cheekbones, the forehead, the backs of the hands, and they get more defined every year.

Tranexamic acid interrupts the signal UV sends to those cells, which is why it has become the go to for sun driven pigment. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable vitamin C, works on the oxidation side. None of it replaces sunscreen, which is still doing most of the defensive work.

Doing the work

  • Tranexamic acid 4%Cuts the UV pigment signal
  • Sodium ascorbyl phosphateStable vitamin C brightening
  • GlutathioneAntioxidant support for tone
  • Daily SPFNot in the tube, still essential

The stubborn one.

Melasma spreads in soft edged patches, usually across the cheeks, upper lip and forehead. Hormones start it, heat and light keep it going, and it is the pigment concern most likely to come back. Anyone promising to clear it in a fortnight is selling you something.

Tranexamic acid is the ingredient with the strongest track record here, and 4% is a serious concentration for an over the counter cream. Expect a slow, steady softening across eight to twelve weeks, and expect to keep using it once you get there.

Doing the work

  • Tranexamic acid 4%The dermatology favourite
  • Arbutin 7%Works alongside it, not instead
  • Centella asiaticaCalms the inflammation that feeds it
  • PatienceEight to twelve weeks, then maintain

No single spot. Just dull.

Sometimes there is nothing to point at. The tone has gone patchy, the skin looks tired under bathroom light, and makeup sits differently than it used to. That is usually a mix of low grade pigment, a barrier that is not holding water, and dead cells outstaying their welcome.

Glutathione and vitamin C brighten across the whole face rather than spot treating. Squalane, hyaluronic acid and ceramide NP put the barrier back together, and a barrier holding water is most of what people mean when they say glow.

  • Sodium hyaluronateHolds water in the skin

60 night glow promise
Ships from the US

Morning and night, after your serum and before sunscreen or moisturiser. A pea sized amount covers the whole face.

  • Start once a day for the first week if your skin is reactive.
  • Sunscreen every morning, or the pigment simply reprints.
  • Give it eight weeks before you judge it. Twelve for melasma.

Orders leave our US warehouse within 1 to 2 business days. Standard delivery runs 3 to 5 business days and is free over $50. Express is available at checkout.

If it has not earned its place on your shelf, tell us within 60 nights and we will refund it, tube open or not.

Pregnant or breastfeeding, or on prescription pigment treatment: check with your doctor first. If you are actively using a prescription retinoid, alternate nights rather than layering on day one.

Patch test on the inner arm for 24 hours if you have reacted to a brightening product before.

Cream at the tube opening with active concentrations labelled: arbutin 70,000ppm and tranexamic acid 40,000ppm

The two that matter

Strength you can check.

Plenty of brightening creams list arbutin somewhere near the bottom of the ingredient list, where it is doing almost nothing. This one publishes the numbers.

Arbutin0%

70,000ppm. Under EU rules 7% is the maximum permitted concentration, so there is no legal room above this.

Tranexamic acid0%

40,000ppm. Most over the counter creams that mention it sit between 2% and 3%.

Niacinamide

Slows the transfer of pigment into the surface cells you can actually see, and helps oil behave.

Ceramide NP

Replaces the lipid the barrier lost. A leaky barrier is why brightening actives sting.

Glutathione

Antioxidant that works on overall clarity rather than one stubborn patch.

Centella asiatica

The Korean staple for calming irritation, which is what starts most pigment in the first place.

Squalane

Slip and softness without the heaviness, so the cream disappears under makeup.

Sodium hyaluronate

Pulls water into the upper layers. Hydrated skin reflects light, which is most of what glow means.

Week 1 to 2

Nothing dramatic

Skin feels softer and holds water better. The pigment has not moved yet. This is the week most people quit.

Week 3 to 4

Edges soften

Newer marks, the ones from recent breakouts, start losing their outline. Overall tone reads a little cleaner.

Week 6 to 8

The visible shift

Post acne marks are meaningfully lighter. Sun spots are on their way. Take your first photo now and compare.

Week 12

Melasma territory

The stubborn patches soften. Keep using it, because stopping is how it comes back.

Clinical testing badge showing a 0.0 primary skin irritation score

Tested, not assumed

A 0.0 irritation score, which is rarer than it sounds.

Brightening actives have a reputation for stinging, and it is usually earned. This formula went through primary skin irritation testing and came back at 0.0, the floor of the scale. That is the difference between a cream you use twice a day for three months and one that lives in a drawer.

Testing carried out for Tosowoong. Individual skin still varies, so patch test if you have reacted before.

Three steps, twice a day

Where it goes in your routine.

Clean face, damp skin

Cleanse as you normally would and leave the skin slightly damp. Anything you apply next spreads further and absorbs faster. If you use a toner or essence, that goes here.

A pea of cream, whole face

Not just on the spots. Pigment does not respect borders, and treating one patch on an otherwise untreated face is how you end up with a new patch shaped outline. Press it in, do not drag.

Seal it, then protect it

Moisturiser over the top at night. In the morning, sunscreen, every single day, even in February. Without it you are refilling the bucket you just emptied.

Nothing hidden

Week three and the mark on my jaw from a breakout in April has genuinely gone lighter. I was ready for this to be another $45 lesson.

It does not sting. Every other brightening cream I have tried made my cheeks go red for ten minutes and this one just sinks in.

Slow. Fair warning. But I am at week nine with melasma across both cheeks and the edges are softer than they have been in two years.

Buy for the timeline, not the week

One tube is about eight weeks.

Twice a day on a whole face runs a 50 ml tube down in roughly two months, which is exactly when the results start showing. Running out at week eight is the most common reason people never see them.

Before you ask

The questions that stop the sale.

Six to eight weeks for post acne marks, ten to twelve for melasma and older sun damage. Anything faster than that is a moisturiser making your skin look plumper, not pigment actually clearing. Photograph your face in the same light on day one so you have something honest to compare against.

Yes, with a little sequencing. Vitamin C in the morning and this cream after it is fine. If you are on a prescription retinoid, alternate nights for the first fortnight rather than layering both from day one, then combine once your skin has stopped complaining.

No. Arbutin and tranexamic acid slow overproduction of pigment. They do not bleach normal skin tone, which is why the formula works on the patch and leaves the surrounding skin where it is. Apply it to the whole face anyway, so nothing ends up outlined.

Yes, and this is the part people skip. UV is the signal that tells your skin to make pigment. Treating spots without daily SPF is emptying a bath with the tap running. Any broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher, every morning, reapplied if you are outdoors.

It scored 0.0 in primary skin irritation testing, which is the lowest reading available, and it is fragrance free. That said, sensitive skin is personal. Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours, then start once a day for the first week before moving to twice.

Tell us inside 60 nights and we will refund the order, opened tube included. Pigment is genuinely variable and we would rather refund you than have you leave a one star review that starts with "I gave it two weeks".

For Andrea

What this concept fixes.

Everything below was found on skinglowly.us as it stands today. None of it is a criticism of the work so far, it is just the list of what a half finished PagePilot store leaves behind.

01

The store is still called Velora

The browser tab, the link preview, the footer copyright and the vendor field on your one product all read Velora. Google is showing that name because your site is telling it to.

02

Your description is about kitchen gadgets

The meta description Google reads starts "Innovative kitchen gadgets are transforming the way people cook". It is left over from a previous template and it is the sentence anyone searching for you would see.

03

The homepage is empty

One rich text block on the free Sense theme. No hero, no product, no story, no reason to scroll. A visitor who lands on skinglowly.us cannot tell what you sell.

04

Both pack sizes cost $44.95

The two pack and the one pack are priced identically, so the bundle gives the customer nothing and costs you a tube. Fixed here at $79.90 for two.

05

The product has no story

The description is two sentences. No ingredient list, no concentrations, no before and after, no routine guidance. For a $45 pigment cream, that is the whole sale.

06

No social proof anywhere

No review app installed, no ratings, no testimonials. Skincare is the category where nobody buys without seeing another face first.

07

No trust signals

Nothing about shipping times, returns, where it ships from, or what happens if it does not work. Every one of those is a reason someone closes the tab.

08

SAVE20 is announced and never explained

The banner offers 20% off and then the customer has nowhere to go and no email capture worth the name. The code should be earning you an email address.

09

No favicon, no brand mark

The tab shows a blank Shopify placeholder. A one product store lives or dies on looking like a real brand rather than a test store.

10

Your link preview is an AI image

Share the site anywhere and the thumbnail is an unbranded file named ChatGPT_Image_Aug_3. Replaced here with the actual product.

This page is a design concept, not the finished store. Prices, shipping terms, the guarantee and the reviews are placeholders for Andrea to confirm or replace before anything goes live.
